Particleboard
Particleboard is probably the most common wood-based product. It is very versatile and has a wide range of applications. Designed for general use in furniture and construction, Sonae Arauco wood particleboard is a panel consisting of three layers, with a smooth, flat surface. Novogold™
Novogold™ is A grade particleboard substrate, manufactured for general use in interior furniture fitments.
Novogold MR™
Novogold™ is A grade particleboard displaying a degree of resistance to moisture.
Medium Density Fibreboard
Medium density fibreboard is the best wood-based product for actually replacing solid wood and its use has been increasing continuously all over the world.
MDF has high mechanical resistance and good dimensional stability against temperature variations and dampness in the environment. This is why it’s a product with a wide range of applications.
Perfectly suited for meeting the requirements of furniture or flooring applications, the need for moisture or fire resistance, low density or moulding capacity, or even for use in construction, Sonae Arauco MDF boards have smooth homogeneous surfaces which are ideal for lacquering and they are easily machined.
Novowood™
Novowood™ is standard Medium Density Fibreboard substrate designed for general purpose interior use only and is not suitable for exterior use or interior areas where wetting or high humidity conditions are likely.
Novowood DR™
Novowood DR™ MDF is manufactured to a higher specification for interior applications that require consistent deep machining for profiling of cabinetry and moldings. Novowood DR™ has a homogeneous smooth surface and is perfect for painting, laminating and overlay upgrading.
Novolite™
Novolite™ is standard Thin Medium Density Fibreboard substrate available in either an unsurfaced or surfaced option. Novolite™ has a fine homogeneous surface suitable for any coated application.
